The property encompasses 87 acres, including championship polo fields, riding arenas, barn facilities, pastures, and natural areas.

Is the venue open to the public?

Hidden Creek is a private facility. Public access is available during scheduled events such as polo matches and our annual open house. Otherwise, visits are by appointment only.

What types of events do you host?

We host a wide range of events including:

How many guests can the venue accommodate?

Capacity depends on event type and configuration:

Can we bring our own vendors?

Yes! We allow outside vendors for catering, photography, entertainment, and other services. We also maintain a list of recommended vendors who know our venue well. All vendors must carry appropriate insurance.

Is there parking available?

Yes, we have parking for 300+ vehicles on-site. For larger events, we can accommodate additional overflow parking on the property.

Are there accommodations on-site?

We do not have guest rooms on the property. However, there are several hotels and vacation rentals within 10-15 minutes of the venue. We can provide a list of nearby accommodations upon request.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation policies vary by event type and timing. Generally, deposits are non-refundable. Full cancellation terms are outlined in our event contracts. We recommend event insurance for weather-dependent outdoor events.

Equestrian services

Do you offer horse boarding?

Yes, we offer several boarding options:

  • Full board: Complete care including feed, hay, turnout, and stall cleaning
  • Training board: Full board plus regular training sessions
  • Pasture board: 24/7 turnout with run-in shelter

All boarders have access to our facilities including arenas, trails, and wash racks.

What disciplines do your trainers teach?

Our on-site trainers specialize in various disciplines including polo, dressage, jumping, and general horsemanship. Visit our trainers page for profiles and specialties.

Can I bring my horse for a single lesson?

Yes, we welcome visiting horses for lessons. A Coggins test and proof of vaccinations are required. Contact our office to arrange trailer parking and arena time.

Do you offer polo lessons?

Yes! We offer polo lessons for beginners through advanced players. Lesson horses are available, or you can bring your own. Contact us to schedule with one of our polo professionals.

Logistics & policies

Is alcohol permitted on the property?

Yes, alcohol is permitted at private events. For events serving alcohol, proper licensing and liability coverage through your caterer or a licensed bartending service is required.

Are pets allowed?

For the safety of our horses and guests, pets are generally not permitted on the property except for service animals. Please discuss any pet needs when planning your event.

What happens if it rains?

Oregon weather is unpredictable! We recommend having a backup plan for outdoor events. Tent rentals, covered areas, and our barn spaces can serve as rain alternatives. We work with excellent tent vendors experienced with our property.

Is the venue accessible?

The main areas of our property are accessible for guests with mobility needs. Please let us know about specific accessibility requirements when planning your event so we can ensure appropriate accommodations.
